Oreo Cookie Snow People

I made these Oreo cookie snow people
with white fudge coated Oreo cookies.
I glued on mini chocolate chips with
Betty Crocker cookie icing along with
gumdrop ear muffs and noses.
Seems like they need a hat.

Red Velvet and Lace Cookies

Mix together:
One box of Red Velvet cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 cup oil
roll teaspoon size balls of dough
in powdered sugar
place on parchment paper lined cookie
sheets
Bake at 375 for 8-10 min.
cookies will crack on top

Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes

Boil 5 pounds of potatoes,drain.
mash with one stick of butter
one 8 ounce cream cheese
one 8 ounce sour cream
put into a casserole, sprinkle paprika
wrap with foil and freeze until needed
reheat and eat

Four O'Clocks Blooming


One of my favorite old fashioned flowers is Four O'Clocks. They bloom late in the day, and remain open all night. Mine have returned for years,
and will self sow. Be careful where you plant them because you will never be rid of them. They will grow anywhere.
Hummingbirds like them too!

Robin's Egg
