May there never be a shortage of those with open hearts willing to help and to respond to the needs of others.
I knit verrrry slooooowly.
So, I'm the kind that has to dig in the pocketbook and give, 'cause the needy would freeze before I got something knit for them.
I have wondered if this was a good book to buy. I am knitting a childs vest for a group called Warm Woolies. My very first charity knit. I'll have to check out this book. Thanks for the info!

I think I knit for pleasure and relaxation because I knit so slowly that I would never be able to do much to help a cause.
Yes it is a wonderful book and you are right, there is never an end to those in need.
I received this book for Christmas, it is wonderful and can't wait to start some of the projects to donate.
