Knitter and author Debbie Macomber was signing her books at my LYS today. She chatted at length with
all who came by, and charmed everyone with her warm and friendly personality.

Oh cool!
oh you are so lucky! I admire Debbie Macomber very much.
I always miss everything. Jist as well though, I'd have had to admit I never read any of her books. o0
I did visit the Knitting Nest in Maryville this week and saw signs Ms. M had been there. I may try the Cranberry Walnut Salad recipe she distributed...sounds like Waldorf meets Peter Rabbit to me. ;)
How cool! I have yet to meet a famous knitter or designer. I'm sure it was fun and exciting!
You are very lucky. I have just discovered the Blossom Street series. I am reading Twenty Wishes and have Summer on Blossom Street out from the library to read too.
