Cherry Winks Cookies

Cherry Winks cookies are an old Pillsbury Bake Off winner. I have been baking Cherry Winks for years.
They make a festive Christmas cookie
made with marashino cherries.

I used to make Cherry Winks every year to put into cookie baskets for Christmas gifts. My aunt still has them every Christmas when we visit. One of my very favorites!

I haven't heard of Cherry Winks in years! What a great old picture that is, and the table reminds me of the one we had when I was growing up, except it was all red. Unfortunately my Mom covered the top with some kind of vinyl back in the 70s, and now it sits in her garage. I would love to have that old red table today!
Merry Christmas and Happy REDnesday!

Darling picture. Never heard of Cherry Winks, but then again I don't bake and I don't like those M. Cheeries, they remind me too much of cherry medicine I had to take as a kid when I couldn't swallow pills.
Happy New Year to you and Yours,
Sandy
