Heloise Olive Spread

I have kept this old clipping for years.
Heloise Olive Spread
6 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chopped salad olives
2 tablespoons olive juice
dash of pepper
Combine and chill until thick.
Makes a fancy sandwich spread.
There are many variations online.
I used 8 ounces cream cheese.

HFH rocks! What would gentle folk have done without her?
Hope we get snow today.
But I believes it only when I sees it. ;^)

Aren't recipes clipped from the newspaper the best? I've found many favorites that way. Your spread sounds delicious...thanks for sharing the recipe :)

(You should see all the recipe clippings my grandmother saved...I'm afraid to throw them away in case some day I find a hidden jewel in them. Guess I'm a chip off of the old block!!)
