p.s. I just added a pic (at my blog) of a little ol' Confederate Violet. I found it all alone under a crape myrtle bush.

Oh, violets! Look at those! I grew up with wild violets sprinkled randomly through our front yard in Maryland, and loved them. You just don't see them on the other coast over here.
