Forsythia! Mountain laurels! Pink dogwoods! Do you have any idea how homesick you are making me! I have seen three individual mountain laurel blossoms in a nearly-spent cluster since I left for college (I have kids in college). Someday I am so going to make Kim Salazar's Mountain Laurel Counterpane, only bigger than baby blanket size.

Beautiful picture! We are truly blessed to live near the Great Smoky Mountains.
Oh what beauty you are surrounded with.
Gorgeous photo!
Hi Susan,
I like your blog. You have breath-taking scenery and your knitted items are beautiful.
