Oreo Cookie Snow People

I made these Oreo cookie snow people
with white fudge coated Oreo cookies.
I glued on mini chocolate chips with
Betty Crocker cookie icing along with
gumdrop ear muffs and noses.
Seems like they need a hat.

Christmas Cookies

Christmas time is cookie time.
Who doesn't like Christmas cookies?

Red Velvet and Lace Cookies

Mix together:
One box of Red Velvet cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 cup oil
roll teaspoon size balls of dough
in powdered sugar
place on parchment paper lined cookie
sheets
Bake at 375 for 8-10 min.
cookies will crack on top

Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes

Boil 5 pounds of potatoes,drain.
mash with one stick of butter
one 8 ounce cream cheese
one 8 ounce sour cream
put into a casserole, sprinkle paprika
wrap with foil and freeze until needed
reheat and eat

Four O'Clocks Blooming

One of my favorite old fashioned flowers is Four O'Clocks. They bloom late in the day, and remain open all night. Mine have returned for years,
and will self sow. Be careful where you plant them because you will never be rid of them. They will grow anywhere.
Hummingbirds like them too!

A crow raided my robin's nest, and now there is only one egg left! I have also had crows snatch baby rabbits

Thrift Store Treasure

A visit to a thrift store rewarded me with a Vogart embroidery transfer,
a vintage looking cocoa tin, and an embroidered doily trimmed with tatting.

Aunt Martha's Towels

I don't know who Aunt Martha is, but I bought a pack of her towels at Hobby Lobby. Aunt Martha also has
hot iron transfers for embroidery.

These dish towels are new, but remind me of vintage dish towels.
I found them at K Mart.

African Violets

Purple is a good color for African Violets. I feed them Miracle-Gro liquid African Violet food in the purple bottle.

Amaryllis

This Walmart Amaryllis bulb was late
blooming. It was supposed to bloom for Christmas, but was very slow to sprout. It bloomed for Valentine's Day.
