Amaryllis

This Walmart Amaryllis bulb was late
blooming. It was supposed to bloom for Christmas, but was very slow to sprout. It bloomed for Valentine's Day.

  4. It's absolutely gorgeous!

I have a collection of amaryllis bulbs that I've staggered the starting times from year to year so that by last year I had some blooming in June. I've just started up some of the older bulbs. I love having them being gorgeous for just as long as I possibly can.

  5. What a gorgeous flower! I like to plant mine outside in the spring and they bloom again in the summer. Only in the south can we do this!
