Forsythia! Mountain laurels! Pink dogwoods! Do you have any idea how homesick you are making me! I have seen three individual mountain laurel blossoms in a nearly-spent cluster since I left for college (I have kids in college). Someday I am so going to make Kim Salazar's Mountain Laurel Counterpane, only bigger than baby blanket size.
